Section 40-29-26 Sale of seized property. (a) Notice of seizure. As soon as practicable after
seizure of property, notice in writing shall be given by the Commissioner of Revenue or his
delegate to the owner of the property (or, in the case of personal property, the possessor
thereof), or shall be left at his usual place of abode or business. If the owner cannot be
readily located, or has no dwelling or place of business within the state, the notice may
be mailed to his last known address. Such notice shall specify the sum demanded and shall
contain, in the case of real property, a description with reasonable certainty of the property
seized. (b) Notice of sale. The commissioner or his delegate shall as soon as practicable
after the seizure of the property give notice to the owner, in the manner prescribed in subsection

Section 8-15-34 Satisfaction of owner's lien. An owner's lien as provided for a claim which
has become due may be satisfied as follows: (1) No enforcement action shall be taken by the
owner until the occupant has been in default continuously for a period of 30 days. (2) Prior
to taking enforcement action pursuant to this section, the owner shall determine whether a
financing statement has been filed in accordance with Title 7 concerning the property to be
sold or otherwise disposed of, with the Secretary of State, in the county where the self-service
storage facility is located and in the county of the occupant's last known address. (3) After
the occupant has been in default continuously for a period of 30 days, the owner may begin

Section 27-25-7 Notice of availability of owner's title insurance. (a) In connection with any
transaction involving the purchase or sale of a fee simple or possessory interest in real
property in this state, the title insurer shall obtain or cause its agent to obtain, at or
before the closing of settlement and disbursement of any funds, a statement in writing from
the purchaser acknowledging that the purchaser has received a notice that owner's title insurance

Section 35-12-83 Filing and handling of claims. (a) A person, excluding another state, claiming
property paid or delivered to the Treasurer may file a claim on a form prescribed by the Treasurer
and verified by the claimant. (b) Within 120 days after a claim is filed, the Treasurer shall
allow or deny the claim and give written notice of the decision to the claimant. If the claim
is denied, the Treasurer shall inform the claimant of the reasons for the denial and specify
