Section 45-2-84.02 Definitions. As used in this part, the following words shall have the following
meanings: (1) BALDWIN COUNTY COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS CENTER. The entity, programs, or physical
structure which shall provide the programs or custodial care for eligible persons released
from custody prior to the adjudication of their case or sentenced to participate in programs
developed pursuant to this part after having been adjudicated and sentenced. (2) BALDWIN COUNTY
COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS FUND. A fund established in a local bank and supervised by either the
Baldwin County Commission, the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office, or the Baldwin County Pretrial
Release and Community Corrections Board for the deposit of all funds, from whatever source,
collected for the operation and supervision of the programs developed and operated pursuant

Section 45-28A-42.74 Appeals from decisions of board. Within 10 days after any final decision
of the board of trustees, any contributing member including the governing body of such city,
feeling aggrieved at the decision of the board of trustees may appeal from any such decision
to the circuit court of the county in which such city is located and such appeal shall be
heard by a judge sitting without a jury. Upon the filing of any such appeal, notice thereof
shall be served upon any member of the board of trustees by the appellant. Such appeal shall
be heard by the court at the earliest possible date, and it shall not be necessary on any

Section 16-9-5 Nomination by political party. Any political party may, in a county where the
county superintendent is elected by a direct vote of the qualified electors, either nominate
a candidate for such office or may certify to the probate judge that said political party
desires to leave the election of a county superintendent of education to the county board
