Section 45-42-200.02 Office; supplies; personnel. The county commission shall furnish
suitable quarters for the county license commissioner, and provide the necessary forms, books,
stationery, records, equipment, and supplies, except such stationery, forms, and supplies
as are furnished pursuant to law by the State Department of Finance, the Comptroller, or otherwise.
The county commission shall also provide such clerks, deputies, and other assistants for the
commissioner as shall be necessary from time to time for the proper and efficient performance
of the duties of the office. The commissioner shall recommend employment and discipline, subject
to commission approval, of such clerks, deputies, and other assistants. The number and compensation
of such clerks and other assistants shall be subject to the approval of the county governing

Section 45-34-84 Salary; disposition of fees, commission, etc; personnel, equipment,
etc. (a) The Judge of Probate of Henry County shall be entitled to receive compensation in
the form of an annual salary which shall be equal to sixteen thousand dollars ($16,000) per
annum less than the total salary compensation paid by the state to the presiding circuit judge

at his or her discretion, may annually mail an application for renewal of licenses to whom
such license has been previously issued, such renewal forms required to be received in the
license division office prior to the expiration date of the license. Such renewal forms may
be in postcard form and with sufficient information thereon to adequately identify and process
such renewal. The signature of the licensee thereon and proper remittance shall constitute
sufficient authority for the judge of probate to issue such license and return to the licensee

judge of probate may employ such assistants and clerical help as may be necessary to complete
and properly prepare reports from the state voter registration list of the list of qualified
electors which the judge of probate is required to furnish a certified copy to the election
