Section 45-5-80.40 Additional fee; municipal courts. (a) In addition to any court costs and
fees now or hereafter authorized in Blount County, the Blount County Commission may impose
by resolution of the commission an additional fee in an amount not to exceed forty dollars
($40) to be assessed and taxed as costs on each civil case and on each criminal case, including
traffic cases. These fees shall not be waived by any court unless all other fees, assessments,
costs, fines, and charges associated with the case are waived. (b) The municipal courts of
Blount County that have opted not to be included in the District Court of Blount County shall
collect costs, fees, fines, and charges from cases that originate and are executed in the

Section 45-20-82.65 Collection of fees; disposition of funds. After a matter has been transferred
to the district attorney under Section 45-20-82.63, a court shall assess a collection fee
of 30 percent of the funds due which shall be added to the amount of funds due. Any amount
collected pursuant to this subpart shall be distributed as follows: (1) Sixty-five percent
of the collection fee shall be distributed to the county District Attorney Fund to be expended
for lawful purposes for the operation of the office of the district attorney. Funds provided

Section 45-45-85.21 Recording fee. (a) In Madison County, a special recording fee of four dollars
($4) shall be collected by the judge of probate on each real or personal property,
uniform commercial code, judicial, or other instrument recorded or filed for record in the
probate court of the county. The special recording fee shall be in addition to all other fees,
taxes, and other charges required by law to be paid upon the recording or filing for record
of any real or personal property, uniform commercial code, judicial, or other instrument.
All special recording fees collected shall be deposited by the judge of probate in any depository

Section 45-48-80 Additional court costs - Child protection. (a) In order to further provide
for the protection and welfare of children in Marshall County who are alleged to be or have
been found by the juvenile court of the county to be abused and neglected or otherwise dependent
pursuant to Section 12-15-102, a fee of four dollars ($4) shall be charged and collected by
