Section 45-26-81.22 1999 recording fee. (a) In Elmore County, a special recording fee of three dollars ($3) shall be collected by the office of the judge of probate on each real or personal property, Uniform Commercial Code, judicial, or other instrument recorded or filed for record. The special recording fees shall be in addition to all other fees, taxes, and other charges required by law to be paid upon the recording or filing for record of any real or personal property, Uniform Commercial Code, judicial, or other instrument. Section 45-44-170.05 Enforcement; fines. (a) The operation of an unlicensed junkyard that is required to be licensed pursuant to this section constitutes a public nuisance. (b) The Macon County Commission shall adopt regulations and requirements for issuing licenses for the operation of junkyards within the limits defined in this article and may revoke the licenses at any time the junkyard fails to conform to the requirements of this article, and shall charge a license fee of not more than five hundred dollars ($500) and not less than one hundred dollars ($100) payable each fiscal year.
