Section 45-1-130 Duties of county engineer. Effective April 23, 1992, all functions, duties, and responsibilities for the construction, maintenance, and repair of public roads, highways, bridges, and ferries in Autauga County shall vest in the county engineer, who shall, insofar as possible, construct and maintain such roads, highways, bridges, and ferries on the basis of the county as a whole or as a unit, without regard to district or beat lines.
