Section 45-8A-20.01 Definitions. The following words and phrases used in this part, and others evidently intended as the equivalent thereof, shall, in the absence of clear implication herein otherwise, be given the following respective interpretations herein: (1) "Applicant" means a natural person who files a written application with the governing body of the city in accordance with the provisions of Section 45-8A-20.03. (2) "Authority" means the Anniston Downtown Development Authority, a public corporation organized pursuant to the provisions of this part. (3) "Authorizing resolution" means a resolution adopted by the governing body of the city in accordance with the provisions of Section 45-8A-20.03, that authorizes the corporation of the authority. Section 11-105-4 Board of directors. Section 11-92B-18 Oversight committee. The affairs and operations of an authority shall be supervised and monitored by an oversight committee. The committee shall be composed of all the members of the legislative delegation from the county of incorporation, as well as the members of the governing bodies of the county of incorporation and all municipalities whose corporate limits lie in whole or in part within the operational area of the authority. The chair of the oversight committee shall be a member of the legislative delegation elected by the oversight committee. The oversight committee shall meet not less often than semiannually, and otherwise at the call of its chair or a majority of its membership. Section 34-27A-4 Board created; composition; meetings; compensation. There is established the Alabama Real Estate Appraisers Board.
