Section 45-49-151.14 Tax due on pari-mutuel pools; distribution of contributions; capital improvement
fund. (a) Every licensee conducting race meetings pursuant to this subpart shall pay to the
racing commission for its use, a tax on the total contributions to all pari-mutuel pools conducted
or made on a racetrack licensed under this subpart in an amount equal to eight percent until
April 17, 1992, and seven percent thereafter. Except as otherwise provided in this subpart,
the commission of a licensee on a pari-mutuel pool shall not exceed 19 percent of the amount
contributed to the pari-mutuel pool, including the tax provided in this section. In addition
to the 19 percent commission authorized to be withheld from pari-mutuel pools, the licensee
may deduct an additional two percent commission from all pari-mutuel betting pools in which

Section 7-9A-523 Information from filing office; sale or license of records. (a) Acknowledgment
of filing written record. If a person that files a written record requests an acknowledgment
of the filing, the filing office shall send to the person an image of the record showing the
number assigned to the record pursuant to Section 7-9A-519(a)(1) and the date and time of
the filing of the record. However, if the person furnishes a copy of the record to the filing
office, the filing office may instead: (1) note upon the copy the number assigned to the record

Section 45-49-171.23 Regulation of intermittent food service establishments. (a) For the purposes
of this section, the following terms shall have the following meanings: (1) INTERMITTENT FOOD
SERVICE ESTABLISHMENT. Any entity that has a physical address within Mobile County that does
not prepare or serve food in its regular line of business but prepares and serves food on
an intermittent basis for a period of time not to exceed three consecutive days per week.
(2) TEMPORARY EXEMPT EVENT. A special occurrence or celebration that is community wide in
conjunction with a local or regional celebration, tradition, or cultural event. (b)(1) An
intermittent food service establishment shall complete an online application on the Mobile
County Health Department web page at no charge, not later than five business days prior to

Section 40-17-350 Transportation of motor fuel; inspections. (a) Each person operating a refinery
or terminal in Alabama shall prepare and provide to the driver of every highway vehicle receiving
motor fuel at the facility a shipping document setting out on its face the destination state
as represented to the terminal operator by the shipper or the shipper's agent. Failure to
comply with this subsection may result in a department imposed penalty of not less than five
hundred dollars ($500) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000), to be multiplied by the
sum of the current violation plus prior violations of this subsection. (b) Every person transporting
motor fuel in Alabama in a highway vehicle other than in its supply tank shall carry on board

Section 45-5-140 Assessment of tax against owners of forest lands. (a) The County Commission
of Blount County is authorized, when the need exists, to provide protection against forest
fires in Blount County by participating in the Alabama Forestry Commission's fire protection
program in the manner hereinafter specified. (b)(1) After the Blount County Commission has
determined that such a need does exist in Blount County, the county commission may, in the
manner hereinafter specified, provide for a financial charge or tax to be paid by the owners
of forest lands located in Blount County for the use of the land for timber growing purposes
amounting to the whole or any part of the cost of such fire protection program, but not in
excess of ten cents ($0.10) per acre, provided such financial charge or tax is not greater

Section 45-9-245.02 Levy of tax. The County Commission of Chambers County may levy, in addition
to all other taxes presently levied, an additional sales and use tax not to exceed the highest
municipal rates collected in the county. These additional rates shall be as follows: General
sales, sales and use tax rate of a rate equal to the highest municipal rate collected on April
14, 2006; automobile sales and use rate of two percent; agricultural machinery sales and use
tax of two percent; and manufacturing machine sales and use tax rate of two percent. Except
as herein provided, these rates shall apply only in the areas in the county outside the corporate
limits of Lanett, Valley, LaFayette, Waverly, and Five Points as determined on April 14, 2006.
