Section 45-15-200 County license inspector. (a) In Cleburne County, any law or parts of laws to the contrary notwithstanding, and notwithstanding the provisions of Section 40-12-10 as amended, providing for the appointment of license inspectors under certain conditions, the county commission is authorized to appoint the Cleburne County License Inspector, and the powers, duties, and functions of such position are hereby vested in such appointee. All fines, fees, and penalties collected by such inspector shall be paid into the general fund of the county and disbursed as provided by law. (b) The county commission shall determine if the position of Cleburne County License Inspector is full-time or part-time; in addition to those duties and powers set by general law, the commission may, from time to time, prescribe other functions and duties as it may feel are warranted. Section 45-20-82.65 Collection of fees; disposition of funds. After a matter has been transferred to the district attorney under Section 45-20-82.63, a court shall assess a collection fee of 30 percent of the funds due which shall be added to the amount of funds due. Any amount collected pursuant to this subpart shall be distributed as follows: (1) Sixty-five percent of the collection fee shall be distributed to the county District Attorney Fund to be expended for lawful purposes for the operation of the office of the district attorney. (a) The department shall charge Elmore County for collecting the tax levied under this subpart in an amount or percentage of total collections as may be agreed upon by the commissioner and the Elmore County Commission. The charge shall not exceed five percent of the total amount of the tax collected in the county.
