Section 2-17-30 Jurisdiction and prosecution of injunctive proceedings under chapter or regulations promulgated thereunder. The circuit courts of the several counties of this state are vested with jurisdiction specifically to enforce and to prevent and restrain violations of this chapter or any regulation promulgated under authority thereof by temporary restraining order or permanent injunction or otherwise. Petitions for injunctive relief as authorized hereunder shall be filed in the circuit court of the county of residence of the person who violates the provisions of this chapter. Section 32-6-18 Penalties - Violations in general; disposition of funds. (a) Any person of whom a driver's license is required, who drives a motor vehicle on a public highway in this state without first having complied with this article or the rules and regulations promulgated hereunder shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and, upon conviction shall be punished by a fine of not less than ten dollars ($10) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100), to be fixed in the discretion of the judge trying the case.
