Section 11-50-234 Board of directors. (a) Each corporation formed under this division shall
have a board of directors which shall constitute the governing body of the corporation, which
board shall consist of at least three members. All members of the board of directors shall
be reimbursed for actual expenses incurred in and about the performance of their duties under
this division, and the chairman of said board may, at the discretion of the board of directors,
be paid a director's fee in an amount not exceeding $15.00 each month, and each member of
the board of directors other than the chairman may be paid a director's fee in an amount not
exceeding $10.00 each month. Any officer of the municipality shall be eligible for appointment
and may serve as a member of the board of directors but shall not receive a fee for his services;
provided, that at no time shall the board consist of more than two officers of the municipality.

Section 11-90-2 Library boards - Composition; appointment and terms of members; vacancies in
office. The government and supervision of such libraries shall be vested in a library board
consisting of five members who shall be appointed by the county commission or the governing
body of the municipality. The terms of membership on the library board, as first appointed,
for one member shall be for one year, for the second member shall be for two years, for the
third member shall be for three years, and for the remaining two members the terms shall be

Section 34-16-4 Licensure Board for Interpreters and Transliterators - Creation; composition;
meetings; duties; compensation. (a) There is created the Alabama Licensure Board for Interpreters

Section 34-23-90 Authority; composition. (a) The Alabama State Board of Pharmacy is vested
with the authority to carry out the purposes of and enforce this chapter. The board shall
consist of five members who are citizens of this state. The members of the board shall be
licensed pharmacists who have been licensed in this state for a minimum of five years and

Section 34-25A-9 Membership of board. (a) Regarding the board created by Act 2009-300, initial
appointments shall be staggered such that two members are appointed for one year, two members
are appointed for two years, and two members appointed for three years and three members are
