Section 45-45-82.25 Administration; personnel; advisory committee. The presiding circuit judge
for the county, or the county law librarian by designation of the presiding circuit judge,
shall administer the county law library and shall disburse the law library funds, and shall
appoint such librarians and assistants as are necessary for the proper operation of the library.
The presiding judge of the circuit shall appoint an advisory committee to the county law library.

Section 45-37-81 District court - Treatment to Alternative Street Crime; Birmingham Division
Law Library Fund. (a) This section shall be operative only in Jefferson County. (b)(1) Notwithstanding
any special, local, or general law to the contrary, there is levied on all cases in district
court, an additional fee of seven dollars ($7) and in circuit court, an additional fee of

Section 40-2B-2 Alabama Tax Tribunal. (a) Statement of Purpose. To increase public confidence
in the fairness of the state tax system, the state shall provide an independent agency with
tax expertise to resolve disputes between the Department of Revenue and taxpayers, prior to
requiring the payment of the amounts in issue or the posting of a bond, but after the taxpayer
has had a full opportunity to attempt settlement with the Department of Revenue based, among
