With regard to the collection of the fees levied by this article, including, but not limited to, the application for and granting of exemptions, the Coffee County Commission shall exercise such regulatory control and supervision over and may adopt rules and regulations as may be needed to meet the requirements of this article. The purpose and use of funds generated by this article are to enable all participating eligible volunteer fire departments in Coffee County to be better equipped and prepared for emergencies in the county and to assist in maintaining and lowering Insurance Services Organization ratings.
