Section 45-22-243.06 Enforcement. The taxes imposed by this subpart shall constitute a debt
due Cullman County and may be collected by civil suit, in addition to all other methods provided
by law and in this subpart. The taxes, together with interest and penalties with respect thereto,
shall constitute and be secured by a lien upon the property of any person from whom the taxes
are due or who is required to collect the taxes. All the provisions of the revenue laws of

Section 45-3-244.32 County privilege, license, or excise tax - Failure to add or levy tax;
penalty; tax stamps; rules and regulations. (a) It shall be unlawful for any dealer, storer,
or distributor engaged in or continuing in the business in Barbour County for which the tax
is levied to fail or refuse to add to the sales price and collect from the purchaser the amount
due on account of the tax herein provided, to refund or offer to refund all or any part of
the amount collected or absorb, or advertise directly or indirectly, the absorption of the

Section 45-8-242 Levy of tax; advisory referendum; collection of tax; disposition of funds.
(a) This section shall only apply to Calhoun County. (b) As used in this section, state sales
and use tax means the tax imposed by the state sales and use tax statutes, including, but

Section 45-6-242 Levy of taxes; exemptions; payment of taxes; reports by taxpayers; applicability
of state sales tax statutes; disposition of funds. (a) The following words, terms, and phrases
where used in this section shall have the following respective meanings except where the context
