Section 33-2-71 Application of revenues from inland waterways facilities. The gross revenues derived from the operation of each unit of development comprising a part of the inland waterways facilities shall be applied for the following purposes in the following order: (1) Payment of the expenses of operating and maintaining in good operating condition the unit of development from which such revenues are derived; and (2) payment of the expenses of operating and maintaining in good condition any other unit of development or units of development comprising a part of the inland waterways facilities. Section 45-25-243 Lodging tax levied. (a) In DeKalb County, in addition to all other taxes imposed by law, there is levied a privilege or license tax in the amount herein prescribed against every person within the county engaging in the business of renting or furnishing a room or rooms, lodging or accommodations, to a transient in a hotel, motel, inn, condominium, house, tourist court, or another place in which rooms, lodgings, or accommodations are regularly furnished to transients for a consideration. Section 8-17-91 Disposition of funds; overpayments. (a) In Jefferson County, in addition to all other taxes imposed by law, there is hereby levied an additional privilege or license tax, in the amount hereinafter prescribed against any person, organization, or other entity engaging or continuing in the county in the business of leasing or renting any passenger automotive vehicle, the duration of the lease being not more than one year.
