Section 45-23-240.100 THIS SECTION WAS ASSIGNED BY THE CODE COMMISSIONER IN THE
2019 REGULAR SESSION, EFFECTIVE MARCH 15, 2019. THIS IS NOT IN THE CURRENT CODE SUPPLEMENT.
(a) In Dale County, the Revenue Commissioner shall collect a tag transaction fee in the amount
of five dollars ($5) for each motor vehicle tag, except trailer tags, issued or renewed in
the county. The fee shall not apply to tag transfers and replacement transactions. The tag
transaction fee shall be in addition to any other fees authorized by law. (b) Three percent
of the proceeds from the fees shall be retained by the Revenue Commissioner to be used for
the operation of his or her office. The remainder of the proceeds from the fees shall be distributed
by the Revenue Commissioner to the Dale County Commission to be further distributed by the
county commission to municipalities and to emergency medical services organizations for emergency

Section 45-28-20 Beer tax distribution. Notwithstanding any other provision of law,
in Etowah County, the beer taxes imposed pursuant to Section 28-3-190 shall be collected
by the county judge of probate and distributed as follows: The entire amount of tax shall
be paid to the Etowah County Commission and the net revenue, after reimbursing the county
general fund for all expenses incurred in the administration and enforcement of the tax, shall

Houston County Commission and the Houston County Judge of Probate may establish and make available,
by paid subscription, an on-line computer service allowing the general public limited access
to certain records maintained, preserved, and made available to the general public for convenient

fees, judgments, and costs of court, the clerk, sheriff, or other appropriate court official
in the civil division of the district and circuit courts of Madison County shall increase

Section 45-11-247.06 Charge for collection; trust account. The department shall charge
Chilton County for collecting the tax levied under this part in an amount or percentage of
total collections as may be agreed upon by the commissioner and the Chilton County Commission.
The charge shall not exceed five percent of the total amount of the tax collected in the county.
The charge may be deducted each month from the gross revenues from the tax before certification
of the amount of the proceeds due Chilton County for that month. The Commissioner of Revenue
