Section 45-49-249.51 Amount of tax. This subpart applies to the collection and enforcement
of all county privilege, license, or excise taxes levied or authorized to be levied by local
law or resolution of the Mobile County Commission on the sale, distribution, storage, use,
or otherwise consumption of cigarette and other tobacco products in the county whether collected
by the State Department of Revenue or the Mobile County Commission prior to October 1, 2019,
and set out below in the total, cumulative amount of tax on each item: (1) Twenty cents ($0.20)
for each package of cigarettes made of tobacco or any substitute therefor. (2) Twenty-one
cents ($0.21) for each cigar stick of any description made of tobacco or any substitute therefor,
with the exception of cigarette-sized or near-cigarette-sized cigars which shall be taxed

Section 28-2-23 Levy and collection of tax upon sale of malt beverages by counties or municipalities
permitting sale under article; disposition of proceeds from tax. Any county or municipality
which allows the sale of malt beverages under the provisions of this article shall be authorized
to levy and collect a tax upon the sale of such beverages in an amount not to exceed $.05
on each 12 fluid ounces or fraction thereof; provided, that the county shall not have authority

Section 45-4-240 Revenue collection program. (a) The County Commission of Bibb County may establish
and administer a program of revenue collection for all local taxes, licenses, fees, and other
fees, charges, and revenues levied by the county commission pursuant to local law. (b) The

Section 45-48A-11 Levy of tax for public school purposes. (a) The City of Albertville in Marshall
County, Alabama, herein called the city, is presently authorized by applicable provisions
of the Constitution of Alabama of 1901 to levy and collect an ad valorem tax for public school
