Section 45-9-170 Regulation of junkyards; public nuisances; enforcement. (a) The regulation
of the accumulation and storage of junk, inoperable motor vehicles, and other litter within
the unincorporated areas of Chambers County, and licensing the operation of junkyards within
the unincorporated areas of Chambers County is hereby declared to be in the public interest
and necessary to promote the public safety, health, welfare, convenience, and enjoyment of
public travel; to protect the public investment in public highways; to preserve and enhance
the scenic beauty of lands and the environment; and to promote the conservation of natural
mineral resources by encouraging recycling. The Legislature finds and declares that within
the unincorporated areas of Chambers County the accumulation and storage of junk, inoperable

Section 32-6-253.1 Removable windshield placard; unauthorized use of parking places. (a) Any
person who submits to the Department of Veterans Affairs an application which includes satisfactory
proof that he or she meets the military service and award requirements to be issued a license
plate authorized by Section 32-6-250, shall be issued a removable windshield placard displaying
the appropriate military honor or veteran status. The application shall be on a form approved
by the Department of Veterans Affairs. There shall be no fee for the removable windshield
placard. (b) The removable windshield placard shall be prepared by the Department of Veterans
Affairs in cooperation with the Department of Revenue. (c) The removable windshield placard

Section 40-12-254 Motor vehicles issued to disabled veterans; fees. (a) Any disabled veteran
of World War II or of any other hostilities in which the United States was, is, or shall be
engaged against any foreign state, whether as a result of a declared war or not, who owns
an automobile which has been, is or shall hereafter be all or partly paid for with funds furnished
for such purpose by the Administrator of Veterans' Affairs under authority of any act of the
Congress of the United States, is exempt from all license fees and ad valorem taxes required
by or prescribed in this article; provided, that the veteran keeps such motor vehicle only

and remit motor fuel tax returns and payments through an electronic single point of filing
