taxes. Every election heretofore held in any municipality or in any county on the question
of the levy of a special tax for any purpose under the Constitution of Alabama, including
any amendment thereto, at which election a majority of the votes cast were in favor of the
levy of the said tax but which election was irregular by reason of failure prior to the holding

Section 45-24-20 Sunday sales of alcoholic beverages - Unincorporated areas. (a) This section
shall apply only in Dallas County. (b)(1) The voters of Dallas County may authorize the sale
of alcoholic beverages within the county on Sunday by an election pursuant to this section,

Section 11-41-5 Ordering and notice of election of mayor and councilmen for incorporated municipalities;
conduct of election generally; qualifications for voting. Upon making such order of incorporation,
the judge of probate shall order an election to be held by the same inspectors or others appointed
by him for the purpose of electing a mayor and members of the council authorized by this title,
