Section 45-11-81.40 Salary. Effective beginning the next term of office after March 15, 2018,
the Judge of Probate of Chilton County shall receive an annual salary of eighty thousand dollars
($80,000) per year payable in equal monthly installments from the general fund of the county

election in November 2012 and every four years thereafter, the Chair of the Dale County Commission
shall be elected from the county at large. The first term of the chair after the general election

has come to the attention of the Legislature that the present compensation of the circuit
judges and District Attorney for the Twenty-eighth Judicial Circuit is somewhat below the
