Section 45-32-150.16 Disposition of funds. All fees, commissions, taxes, and other monies, including fines and forfeitures, received under this part shall be paid to the Treasurer of Greene County and deposited by the treasurer in the county treasury to the account of the Greene County Racing Commission. Section 40-2B-2 Alabama Tax Tribunal. (a) Statement of Purpose. To increase public confidence in the fairness of the state tax system, the state shall provide an independent agency with tax expertise to resolve disputes between the Department of Revenue and taxpayers, prior to requiring the payment of the amounts in issue or the posting of a bond, but after the taxpayer has had a full opportunity to attempt settlement with the Department of Revenue based, among other things, on the hazards of litigation. One-third of all net funds when received pursuant to Section 40-20-8(e), by Escambia County from the severance tax levied pursuant to Section 40-20-2, shall be paid and distributed among the incorporated municipalities of Escambia County on the basis of population, each municipality receiving the same percentage of these net funds as its population is of the total population of all incorporated municipalities within the county. (a) In Etowah County, there is levied a one cent ($0.01) county sales and use tax in all areas of the county, which may become effective no sooner than January 1, 1996.
