Section 45-43-246.83 Payment and reporting. The tax levied pursuant to this subpart may be collected by the State Department of Revenue or a private firm under contract with the county commission, at the same time and in the same manner as state sales and use taxes are collected. (a) It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation, other than the state Alcoholic Beverage Control Board, to sell at retail in Calhoun County any spirituous or vinous liquors without first obtaining a special license from the judge of probate that shall be in addition to all other licenses required by law.
