over two thousand dollars ($2,000) for a fourth or subsequent conviction within 10 years, the
first one hundred dollars ($100) of that additional amount shall be deposited to the Alabama

not be declared dangerous or a nuisance in any of the following circumstances: (1) When an
injury or damage was sustained by a person who, at the time of injury or damage,
was committing a willful trespass or other tort upon premises occupied by the owner or custodian
of the dog with the intent to commit a crime or was committing a crime, or was teasing, tormenting,
abusing, or assaulting the dog, or who can be shown to have repeatedly, in the past, provoked,
tormented, abused, or assaulted the dog. (2) When the dog was protecting or defending a person
within the immediate vicinity of the dog from an unjustified attack or assault. (3) When the
dog was responding to pain or injury or protecting itself, its kennel, or its offspring.

Section 22-40A-3 Definitions. The following terms shall have the following meanings unless
the context clearly indicates otherwise: (1) APPROVED. Authorized, certified, permitted by,

of solid waste except by sanitary landfill, incineration, recycling process, or other method
approved by the director, consistent with applicable state law, operated by the county or

Section 6-5-337 Immunity of those involved in equine activities. (a) The Legislature recognizes
that persons who participate in equine activities may incur injuries as a result of the risks
involved in those activities. The Legislature also finds that the state and its citizens derive

Section 41-15-4 Value for which state property to be insured; annual certification; gap coverage
and gap plus coverage; survey of public property; sale or salvage of insured items. (a) All
covered property, unless otherwise provided in this section, shall be insured for no more
than its replacement cost and shall be insured for no less than 80 percent of its actual cash
