Section 40-2A-10 Confidentiality, disclosure, and exchange of tax returns and tax information.
THIS SECTION WAS AMENDED BY ACT 2019-101 IN THE 2019 REGULAR SESSION, EFFECTIVE MAY
6, 2019. THIS IS NOT IN THE CURRENT CODE SUPPLEMENT. (a) Except as otherwise provided in this
section, it shall be unlawful for any person to print, publish, or divulge, without
the written permission or approval of the taxpayer, the return of any taxpayer or any part
of the return, or any information secured in arriving at the amount of tax or value reported,
for any purpose other than the proper administration of any matter administered by the department,
a county, or a municipality, or upon order of any court, or as otherwise allowed in this section.
Statistical information pertaining to taxes may be disclosed at the discretion of the commissioner
or his or her delegate to the legislative or executive branch of the state. Upon request,

Section 45-6-242 Levy of taxes; exemptions; payment of taxes; reports by taxpayers;
applicability of state sales tax statutes; disposition of funds. (a) The following words,
terms, and phrases where used in this section shall have the following respective meanings

Section 40-29-22 Lien for taxes - Validity and priority against certain persons. (a)
Purchasers, holders of security interests, mechanic's lienors, and judgment lien creditors.
The lien imposed by Section 40-29-20 shall not be valid as against any purchaser, holder
of a security interest, mechanic's lienor, or judgment lien creditor until notice thereof
which meets the requirements of subsection (f) has been filed by the Commissioner of Revenue
or his delegate, and shall not be perfected as against any purchaser, holder of a security
interest, mechanic's lienor, or judgment lien creditor until the date such notice is filed.
(b) Protection for certain interest even though notice filed. Even though notice of a lien

Section 11-40-65 Filing petition for foreclosure; form of petition; notice. (a) After
a municipal code lien has been recorded with the office of the probate judge of the county
in which the real property lies, the Class 2 municipality may identify those properties on
which to commence a judicial in rem foreclosure in accordance with this article, except that
those properties the Class 2 municipality identifies as owner occupied shall not be subject

Section 2-22-10 Furnishing of semiannual tonnage reports by licensees. (a) Each licensee
shall furnish the commissioner a report showing the number of tons of each grade of fertilizer
sold in each county in the state semiannually pursuant to regulations adopted by the board.
Said report shall be submitted not later than 30 days following the close of the six-month
period; provided, however, that more frequent reports giving this information may be required

Section 32-13-3 Authority to sell; notice; bill of sale; records; voiding of sale; title.
(a) A person, as defined in Section 40-12-240, in possession of a motor vehicle that
is considered an abandoned motor vehicle may sell the motor vehicle at a public auction. (b)(1)
Notice of the date, time, and place of the sale and a description of the motor vehicle to
be sold, including the year, make, model, and vehicle identification number, shall be given
by publication once a week for two successive weeks in a newspaper of general circulation
in the county in which the sale is to be held, provided the vehicle is currently registered
in the county. In counties in which no newspaper is published, notice shall be given by posting
such notice in a conspicuous place at the courthouse. The first publication or posting, as

Section 32-20-3 Powers and duties of department. (a) The department shall prescribe
and provide suitable forms of applications, certificates of title, notices of security interests,

Section 40-12-391 License - Generally. (a) No person shall be licensed as a motor vehicle
dealer under Section 40-12-51, 40-12-62, or 40-12-169, nor shall any person engage
in business as, serve in the capacity of, or act as a new motor vehicle dealer, used motor

Section 45-12-240.40 Motor vehicle licensing. (a) The Revenue Commissioner of Choctaw
County shall perform all duties relative to the assessment and collection of taxes on motor
vehicles, motor vehicle titles, and nonmotorized vehicles in Choctaw County which the judge
of probate is required under the law to perform. The judge of probate shall be relieved of
all duties and responsibilities relative to the assessment and collection of taxes on motor
