Section 36-15-1 Duties generally. The Attorney General shall keep his or her office at the capital city and perform the following duties: (1)a. (a) Commencing with May 23, 2000, each county official listed below shall be entitled to an expense allowance in the following amounts per annum, which shall be payable in equal monthly installments from the county general fund: (1) The Sheriff of Calhoun County, the sum of ten thousand five hundred dollars ($10,500) per annum. Section 16-8-17 Consolidation of schools - County and city systems.
