Section 45-22-242.09 Enforcement. The tax levied by this part, together with interest and penalties
that may be imposed, shall constitute a debt due Cullman County and may be collected by civil
suit, in addition to all other methods provided by law and in this part. The taxes, together
with interest and penalties with respect thereto, shall constitute and be secured by a lien
upon the property of any person from whom taxes are due or who is required to collect the
taxes. All provisions of the revenue laws of this state which apply to the enforcement of
liens for privilege or license taxes due the state shall apply fully to the collection of

Section 45-26-246.02 Monthly report; recordkeeping; penalties. (a) The tax levied by this part,
except as otherwise provided, shall be due and payable to Elmore County on or before the 20th
day of the month next succeeding the month in which the tax accrues. Notwithstanding any provision
of this part providing for the responsibility of the county to collect and administer the
tax provided in this part, the county may contract with an agent to perform all or any part
of its duties pursuant to this part. On or before the 20th day of each month, every person

Section 45-37-90.07 Collection of fees and charges. (a) The Legislature hereby makes the following
findings: (1) Amendment 280 to the Constitution of Alabama 1901, provides that no tax levied
by the state or any municipality or county of the state shall apply to the authority, unless
such tax applies to the county and to the city where the authority is incorporated. (2) The
authority engages in various transactions at its facilities that would give rise to taxes
that would be levied by the state or any municipality or county of the state with respect

Section 45-41-241.01 Ad valorem tax increase. (a) As used in this section, the following words
and phrases shall have the following meanings: (1) AMENDMENT 309. That amendment to the Constitution

Section 45-48-247.02 Violations. It shall be unlawful for any dealer, storer, or distributor
engaged in or continuing in Marshall County in the business for which the tax is hereby levied
to fail or refuse to add to the price and collect from the purchaser the amount due on account
of the tax herein provided or to refund or offer to refund all or part of the amount collected
or absorb or advertise directly or indirectly the absorption of the tax or any portion thereof.

Section 11-49B-22 Taxes; exemptions; reporting credit sales; lien security; state sales tax
