of the State Department of Transportation to send names of candidates for the position of
qualified registered engineer or the commission, without said names, may employ a person who
is a qualified registered engineer and who has as least five years' experience in the construction

shall head the department of public works in Jackson County and shall be referred to as the

Section 12-5A-10 Operating expenses; inventory of county-owned property; election to transfer

this chapter, the operating expenses for the employees and positions covered by this chapter

Section 22-11D-10 Statewide Health System Fund. (a) The Statewide Health System Fund is created.
The department shall distribute funding allocated to the department for the purpose of creating,
administering, maintaining, or enhancing the statewide health system. The department may apply

of Forensic Sciences. Upon January 15, 1998, title and control of all equipment in the office
of the Escambia County Coroner shall be transferred by Escambia County to the county medical
examiner and to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences. The Escambia County Commission
