Section 45-41-84.06 Special indexing fee. Thirty days after April 30, 1986, a special
indexing fee of four dollars ($4) shall be paid to the county, and collected by its judge
of probate, with respect to each real property instrument and each personal property instrument
that may be filed for record in the office of the judge of probate and for the recording of
other instruments and documents in the probate office in the discretion of the judge of probate

Section 45-46-84 Special index fee. (a) In Marengo County, a special index fee of five
dollars ($5) shall be collected by the judge of probate on each real or personal property
instrument, or other instrument recorded or filed for record in the probate court of the county.
