of an authority, to the area or areas in which that authority is authorized to render water,
garbage, or sewer service. (11) PERSON. Unless limited to a natural person by the context

county or an agency, department, or instrumentality of the state or of a county or municipality.

Section 22-23A-1 Definitions. The following words and phrases, whenever used in this chapter,
shall have the following respective meanings unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:
(1) AUTHORITY. The corporation organized pursuant to the provisions of this chapter as a public

(5) To provide for the acquisition, construction, installation, equipping, operation and maintenance
of public health facilities, including the equipping and improvement of existing public health

Section 45-29-90.06 Developmental plans. The authority is authorized to do all of the following:
(1) Investigate the resources of the Tom Bevill Reservoir Management Area and determine the
requirements for its full development and for control and development of its stream system
