Section 44-1-71 Superintendent of education for youth services department district - Appointment and qualifications. There is hereby established the position of superintendent of education for the district which shall be filled by the appointment of the governing board of the department of youth services upon the recommendation of the director of said department, and the superintendent shall serve at the pleasure of, and be directly responsible to, the director. Section 45-49-120.07 Personnel director. The board shall elect and fix the salary of the director who shall hold office at the will of the board. The board shall prescribe qualifications as to residence, education, and experience as may be necessary in its opinion to fill the position of director.
