education, and treatment of osteoporosis. (7) Identify, and when appropriate, replicate or
use successful osteoporosis programs and procure related materials and services from organizations

is not limited to, the following strategies for raising public awareness on the causes and
nature of osteoporosis, personal risk factors, value of prevention and early detection,
and options for diagnosing and treating the disease: (1) An outreach campaign utilizing print,

from the Department of Mental Health, other state or federal agencies, grants, and private
or public organizations to enforce this chapter and to provide and distribute tobacco prevention

Section 16-6A-9 Development of plan for improving courses in critical needs areas. (a) The
State Board of Education shall develop and establish a comprehensive plan for improving courses

Section 22-27-3 Authority of local governing bodies as waste collections and disposal; household
exemptions; state regulatory program. (a) Generally. (1) The county commission or municipal

The Director of the Bureau of Radiological Health and the Director of the Department of Energy
shall serve as members of the Southeast Interstate Low-Level Radioactive Waste Management
