Section 7-9A-102 Definitions and index of definitions. (a) Article 9A definitions. Section 43-8-252 Effect of divorce, annulment, or decree of separation. (a) A person who is divorced from the decedent or whose marriage to the decedent has been annulled is not a surviving spouse unless, by virtue of a subsequent marriage, he is married to the decedent at the time of death. (a) If a marriage is dissolved before placement of eggs, sperm, or embryos, the former spouse is not a parent of the resulting child unless the former spouse consented in a signed record, maintained by the licensed assisting physician, that if assisted reproduction were to occur after a divorce, the former spouse would be a parent of the child. (a) In this section, the terms "child", "spouse", or "former spouse" include any person for whom an order or judgment for child or spousal support has been entered in this or another state. Section 45-49-150.13 Effect of revocation. (a) A bingo permit holder whose bingo permit is revoked in consequence of a violation of this part or rule promulgated under this part is ineligible to apply for a bingo permit for a period of 12 months after the date of the revocation. (b) A person convicted of an offense under Section 45-49-150.14 or any other gambling offense is ineligible to serve as an officer in any organization having a bingo permit or be a bingo permit holder or to participate in conducting bingo for a period of 12 months after the conviction becomes final.
