Section 11-54-127 Additional powers of boards. (a) In addition to all other powers conferred
on it by law, and subject to any express provisions of its certificate of incorporation to
the contrary, any industrial development board shall have all of the following powers, together
with all powers incidental thereto or necessary to the discharge thereof in corporate form:
(1) To create or establish one or more endowment trust funds. (2) To receive and accept from
any private source, for the account of any endowment trust fund so created or established
by it, contributions in the form of gifts of money, stocks, bonds, and other debt securities,
other personal property, whether tangible or intangible, and real property of any description,

estate and beneficial owners. If permitted by the trust instrument or will under which he
serves or by order of a court having jurisdiction of the estate or trust, a fiduciary may

or pledge agreements executed by corporation as to rights of parties thereto, etc. (a) Each

Section 27-3-14 Deposit requirements - Alien insurers - Generally. (a) An alien insurer shall
not have authority to transact insurance in this state unless it has and maintains within
the United States as deposits with trustees, public depositaries or in trust institutions
approved by the commissioner under Section 27-3-15 assets available for discharge of its United
States insurance obligations, which assets shall be in amount not less than the outstanding
