Section 9-11-36 Issuance of licenses generally - Persons authorized; record. The judge of probate,
the license commissioner or such person or persons not residing at the county seat in which
the county courthouse is located and duly appointed by the Commissioner of Conservation and
Natural Resources and so authorized by him shall have authority to issue all licenses, resident
or nonresident, to all persons complying with the provisions of this article and shall sign
his name and shall require the person to whom the license is issued to sign his name on the
margin thereof. The person or persons issuing said license shall keep in a book or on specially
prepared sheets to be furnished by the Commissioner of Conservation and Natural Resources
a correct and complete record of all licenses issued, which record shall remain in his office

Section 15-6-25 Discharge of defendant; commitment to jail; contents of commitment warrant.
(a) Upon an undertaking, with sufficient sureties being given, the defendant must be discharged;
and, if not given, the circuit, district or municipal court judge must commit him to jail
until he gives the same, specifying in the warrant of commitment the cause thereof, the time
he is required to keep the peace, towards whom particularly and the sum in which security
is required. (b) Any person committed under the provisions of subsection (a) of this section
may be discharged by the sheriff of the county in which he is detained upon entering into

Section 16-28A-1 Legislative findings. It is the finding of the Alabama Legislature that the
people of Alabama have two basic expectations of their public schools: (1) that students be
allowed to learn in a safe classroom setting where order and discipline are maintained; and
(2) that students learn at the level of their capabilities and achieve accordingly. The Legislature
finds further that every child in Alabama is entitled to have access to a program of instruction
which gives him or her the right to learn in a non-disruptive environment. No student has
a right to be unruly in his or her classroom to the extent that such disruption denies fellow
students of their right to learn. The teacher in each classroom is expected to maintain order
and discipline. Teachers are hereby given the authority and responsibility to use appropriate

Section 41-14A-5 Collateral for public deposits; general provisions. (a) Every qualified public
depository shall maintain on deposit with a custodian, to be held subject to the order of
