Section 27-29-6.2 Group-wide supervisor for internationally active insurance group. (a)(1)
The commissioner may act as the group-wide supervisor for any internationally active insurance
group in accordance with this section. The commissioner may otherwise acknowledge another
regulatory official as the group-wide supervisor where the internationally active insurance
group meets any of the following: a. Does not have substantial insurance operations in the
United States. b. Has substantial insurance operations in the United States, but not in this
state. c. Has substantial insurance operations in the United States and this state, but the
commissioner has determined pursuant to the factors set forth in subsections (b) and (f) that
the other regulatory official is the appropriate group-wide supervisor. (2) An insurance holding
company system that does not otherwise qualify as an internationally active insurance group

Section 33-4A-4 Appointment; terms; expenses. The initial appointees to the commission shall
be the members of the State Pilotage Commission appointed by the Governor pursuant to the
Code of Alabama 1975, as it existed prior to the enactment of this chapter, and holding office

privilege and license tax, consumers' use tax, and sellers' use tax levied by Section 45-27-245.31

Section 36-25-4.2 State Ethics Commission - State Ethics Law training programs. (a) At the
beginning of each legislative quadrennium, the State Ethics Commission shall provide for and
administer training programs on the State Ethics Law for members of the Legislature, state
constitutional officers, cabinet officers, executive staff, municipal mayors, council members
and commissioners, county commissioners, and lobbyists. (1) The training program for legislators
shall be held at least once at the beginning of each quadrennium for members of the Legislature.
