Section 30-3D-102 Definitions. In this chapter: (1) "Child" means an individual, whether over or under the age of majority, who is or is alleged to be owed a duty of support by the individual's parent or who is or is alleged to be the beneficiary of a support order directed to the parent. (2) "Child-support order" means a support order for a child, including a child who has attained the age of majority under the law of the issuing state or foreign country. (3) "Convention" means the Convention on the International Recovery of Child Support and Other Forms of Family Maintenance, concluded at The Hague on November 23, 2007. (4) "Duty of support" means an obligation imposed or imposable by law to provide support for a child, spouse, or former spouse, including an unsatisfied obligation to provide support. Section 38-13-2 Definitions. When used in this chapter, the following words shall have the following meanings: (1) ADULT. An individual 19 years of age and older. (2) ADULT CARE FACILITY. A person or entity holding a Department of Human Resources license or approval or certification to provide care, including foster care, for adults. (3) APPLICANT. The agreement on detainers is hereby enacted into law and entered into by the State of Alabama with any and all jurisdictions legally joining therein, in the form substantially as follows: AGREEMENT ON DETAINERS The contracting states solemnly agree that: Article I. Section 5-17-8 Reports to Administrator of Alabama Credit Union Administration; powers of administrator. (a) Credit unions shall report to the Administrator of the Alabama Credit Union Administration at least annually on or before January 31 in such manner and form as required by the administrator for that purpose. Section 45-43-170.04 Solid waste disposal - Fees; public nuisances. (a) The Lowndes County Commission shall by resolution provide for the orderly collection of fees charged under this article. The county commission may establish a periodic payment system and is authorized to purchase necessary supplies and materials and employ personnel necessary to effectuate any such periodic payment system.
