Section 41-9-43 Executive director, consultants, advisors, etc. The chairman, with the approval of the council, may employ an executive director and such additional personnel as may be necessary to accomplish the purpose of this article. The executive director, consultants, advisors, and any such additional personnel as may be necessary shall serve at the pleasure of the council and shall be paid such compensation as may be specified by the council. (a) At the beginning of each legislative quadrennium, the State Ethics Commission shall provide for and administer training programs on the State Ethics Law for members of the Legislature, state constitutional officers, cabinet officers, executive staff, municipal mayors, council members and commissioners, county commissioners, and lobbyists.
