Section 36-25A-3 Notice requirements. (a) Unless otherwise specified by law and as provided
herein, any governmental body subject to this chapter, except for an advisory board, advisory
commission, advisory committee, task force, or other advisory body created solely to make
recommendations on public policy issues and composed of persons who do not receive compensation
for their service as members of the board, commission, committee, task force, or body from
public funds, shall post notice of all meetings, as defined in Section 36-25A-2(6)a.1.,
at least seven calendar days prior to the meeting as follows: (1) The Alabama Legislature

need to protect children and youth from abuse and neglect by persons entrusted with their
physical custody, and from persons or organizations that advertise, hold themselves out, or
lead others to believe that they will provide them with health, therapeutic, rehabilitative,
or disciplinary services, and from persons employed or exercising authority over them, and

Section 29-5A-46 Tax expenditure report. (a) The Fiscal Division shall prepare and submit
an annual report to the Legislature which lists all state tax expenditures and the estimated
cost associated with each of the tax expenditures. For purposes of this section, tax
expenditures means those state revenue losses attributable to the provisions of the constitution,
state tax statutes, or rules promulgated pursuant to the statutes, which allow a special exclusion,
exemption, or deduction, or which provide a special credit or preferential tax rate. The report
shall be organized according to the funds into which the tax expenditures would be dedicated
but for the exemptions and rate differentials. The report shall be submitted at the same time
that the Governor is required to submit his or her budget proposal to the Legislature. (b)
