Section 31-2-67 Annual report by Adjutant General to Governor. On or before December 1 next preceding the beginning of each regular session of the Legislature of Alabama, the Adjutant General shall prepare and submit to the Governor a report covering the functioning of the State Military Department during the period since the last previous such report and ending September 30 of the year in which the report is submitted, which report shall be transmitted by the Governor to the Legislature for its information and consideration. Section 31-5A-9 Annual reports and budget requests. The State Board of Veterans' Affairs shall report to the Governor annually respecting the activities of the State Department of Veterans' Affairs in connection with operation of the state veterans' homes. This report shall contain an accounting for all moneys received and expended, statistics on veterans who resided in the homes during the year, recommendations to the Governor and the Legislature and such other matters as the board shall deem pertinent. Section 31-9A-9 Additional powers of director that may be exercised under the direction and control of the Governor during a declaration of emergency as authorized in Section 31-9-8.
