Section 27-19-103 Definitions. Unless the context requires otherwise, the definitions
in this section apply throughout this article. (1) APPLICANT. In the case of: a. An
individual long-term care insurance policy, the person who seeks to contract for benefits.
b. A group long-term care insurance policy, the proposed certificate holder. (2) CERTIFICATE.

Section 27-51-1 Payment for services of licensed physician assistant. (a) An insurance
policy or contract providing for third-party payment or prepayment of health or medical expenses
shall include a provision for the payment to a supervising physician for necessary medical
or surgical services that are provided by a licensed physician assistant practicing under
the supervision of the physician, and pursuant to the rules, regulations, and parameters for
physician assistants, if the policy or contract pays for the same care and treatment provided

Section 32-7A-6 Evidence of insurance; insurance card. (a) Every operator of a motor
vehicle subject to the provisions of Section 32-7A-4 shall carry within the vehicle
evidence of insurance. The evidence shall be legible and sufficient to demonstrate that the

Section 6-5-548 Burden of proof; reasonable care as similarly situated health care provider;
no evidence admitted of medical liability insurance. (a) In any action for injury or damages
or wrongful death, whether in contract or in tort, against a health care provider for breach

Section 45-45-171.01 Cremation of deceased indigent person. (a)(1) The Madison County
Commission may provide for expenses of cremation of any deceased indigent person, if the deceased
was a resident of the county prior to his or her death, died without an estate, and has no
relatives residing in the county who are financially able to provide for the burial or cremation
expenses of the person. (2) The surviving spouse of the deceased person shall consent in writing
to the cremation by the county. (3) If there is no surviving spouse, any adult child of the

any case in which a noncustodial parent is required by a court or administrative order to
provide health care coverage for such child and the employer of the noncustodial parent is

Section 32-7A-16 Additional violations. (a) A person is guilty of a Class C misdemeanor
