Section 36-36-4 Trust instrument; trustees. The trusts created pursuant to this chapter shall
be evidenced by a written trust instrument, the terms and conditions of which shall be determined
by the board creating such trust and the Governor on behalf of the state as long as such terms
and conditions do not conflict with this chapter. The Trustees of the Alabama Retired State
Employees' Health Care Trust shall be the members of the State Employees' Insurance Board
serving from time to time, and the Trustees of the Alabama Retired Education Employees' Health
Care Trust shall be the members of the Public Education Employees' Health Insurance Board

In order to coordinate the activities of the Department of Mental Health and to advise with
such department and to better acquaint the public with the needs and activities of such department,
there is hereby created a board of trustees for the Department of Mental Health to be composed
of 16 members. The Governor, the Commissioner of Mental Health, the Lieutenant Governor and

Section 41-9-721 Meetings; composition; appointment, terms, etc., of members; expenses; organization.
The board shall meet annually by the first day of March each year and at such other times
as called either by the chairman or upon petition for such meeting submitted by three or more

Section 37-15-10.1 Underground Damage Prevention Authority. (a) The Underground Damage Prevention
Authority is created for the purpose of enforcing this chapter and for reviewing penalty provisions
and the adequacy of the enforcement process. It is the intent of the Legislature that the
authority and its enforcement activities not be funded by appropriations from the state budget.
(b) The authority shall utilize the services of the Alabama Public Service Commission to provide
administrative support for the authority, subject to the concurrence by the authority board.
The Public Service Commission shall charge the expenses associated with the administrative
duties of the authority back to the authority, subject to the concurrence of the authority

Section 10A-20-16.02 Definitions. The following terms shall have the following respective meanings
for the purposes of this chapter: (1) OFFICER. Any officer, director, trustee, partner, manager,
member, and governing person and other member of the governing authority of a qualified entity

of Trustees for Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University, a state land-grant educational
