Section 41-8A-4 Powers and duties of director. (a) The ALEPA Director shall: (1) Supervise and be responsible for the administration of the policies established by the state supervisory board in accordance with the Safe Streets Act and LEAA regulations and guidelines. (2) Establish, consolidate or abolish any administrative subdivision within the Alabama Law Enforcement Planning Agency and appoint and remove for cause the heads thereof, and delegate appropriate powers and duties to them. Section 40-18-422 (Credit expires after 2025 tax year unless extended.) Tax credit for eligible employers of apprentices. (a) For tax years beginning on or after January 1, 2017, through the tax year beginning January 1, 2019, an Alabama income tax credit is allowed for eligible employers that employ an apprentice for at least seven full months of the prior taxable year.
