Section 16-22-15 Notice of personnel vacancy; board policies; emergency situations. (a) For the purposes of this section, the following words shall have the following meanings: (1) BOARD OF EDUCATION or BOARD. Section 45-39-221.07 Distribution of county lodging tax. The State Department of Revenue shall distribute the net proceeds of the county lodging tax as provided in this section: (1) Prior to the organization of the tourism board hereunder, the net proceeds of the county lodging tax collected from persons and businesses operating in the corporate limits or planning jurisdiction of any municipality shall be distributed to that municipality; and the net proceeds of the county lodging tax collected from persons and businesses operating in the county, but not within the corporate limits or planning jurisdiction of any municipality, shall be distributed to the county. Section 16-22-12 Cost-of-living adjustment for public education employees; miscellaneous pay provisions. (a) The State Budget Officer shall allocate to the State Board of Education, the Board of Trustees of the Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind, the Board of Youth Services Department District, the Alabama School of Fine Arts, and the Alabama High School of Mathematics and Science, for disbursement to the employees thereof funds based on the following criteria.
