Section 16-22A-3 Definitions. When used in this chapter only, the following terms shall have the following meanings, respectively, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise: (1) APPLICANT. A certified or noncertified individual who submits an application for employment to a local employing board or any nonpublic school, to act in any capacity in which the individual will have unsupervised access to children in an educational environment. (2) APPLICANT FOR CERTIFICATION. An individual who submits an application for certification issued by the State Superintendent of Education. (3) AUTHORIZED EMPLOYER. Any educational entity authorized to obtain criminal history background information, including the State Department of Education, local employing boards, and nonpublic schools which are responsible for hiring employees or contracting with private employers to provide personnel who have unsupervised access to children in an educational setting. Section 8-19C-2 Database of subscribers objecting to telephone solicitations. (a) No person or entity may make or cause to be made any telephone solicitation to the telephone line of any residential subscriber in this state who has given notice to the commission of his or her objection to receiving telephone solicitations. (b)(1) The commission shall establish and operate a database to compile a list of telephone numbers of residential subscribers who object to receiving telephone solicitations. The commission shall have the database in operation before July 1, 2000. (2) The database may be operated by the commission or by another entity under contract with the commission. Section 8-38-2 Definitions. For the purposes of this chapter, the following terms have the following meanings: (1) BREACH OF SECURITY or BREACH. The unauthorized acquisition of data in electronic form containing sensitive personally identifying information. Acquisition occurring over a period of time committed by the same entity constitutes one breach. The term does not include any of the following: a. Section 30-3-193 Requests for information by the state Title IV-D agency. (a) Subject to due process safeguards, including requirements for notice, opportunity to contest the action, and opportunity for an appeal on the record to a judicial tribunal, upon request from the state Title IV-D agency, public and private entities and individuals as specified in this section shall provide information when the state Title IV-D agency has reason to believe that the information provides location information or otherwise assists in the administration of the state's child support enforcement program. Section 25-1-40 Electronic access to wage reports. (a) For purposes of this section, the following terms have the following meanings: (1) CONSUMER REPORTING AGENCY. Section 34-9-6.1 Mobile dental facilities or portable dental operations. (a) For purposes of this section, the following words have the following meanings: (1) DENTAL HOME. The dental home is the ongoing relationship between the dentist and the patient, inclusive of all aspects of oral health care, delivered in a comprehensive, continuously accessible, coordinated, and family-centered way.
