Section 38-3-25 Reimbursement for expenses. The members of the Alabama Senior Citizens Hall
of Fame shall receive no compensation for their services other than reimbursement for traveling
and other expenses actually incurred in the performance of their official duties. Such expenses
shall be paid in the manner and amount as is provided for other state officers and employees
and persons traveling on official business for the state or any of its departments, institutions,
boards, bureaus, commissions, councils, committees, or other like agencies. Such expenses
shall be paid out of any funds appropriated to the Department of Senior Services and processed

Section 41-16A-2 Legislative intent. It is hereby found and declared by the Legislature of
Alabama that it is in the public interest that the state, political subdivisions, agencies,
boards, commissions, and departments thereof, the various counties of the state, the various

Section 38-2-2 State Board of Human Resources. There shall be a State Board of Human Resources
which shall consist of the Governor, as chairman, and six other members, not less than two
of whom shall be women, appointed by the Governor without regard to political affiliation
but on the basis of recognized interest in welfare work with the advice and consent of the

Section 32-2-83 Disposal of vehicles. (a) Any other provisions to the law contrary notwithstanding,
the Secretary of the Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency shall be responsible for the disposal
of any agency vehicles or property. Such vehicles or property shall be sold by the Secretary
or his or her designee either at public auction or by a negotiated sale by the Alabama State
Law Enforcement Agency to any other state department or agency. The Alabama State Law Enforcement
