Section 12-25-5 Compensation and expenses. (a) Members of the commission and advisory council shall serve without compensation. (b) Members of the commission and advisory council are entitled to reimbursement for expenses while on official business of the commission or attending its meetings. Expenses shall be paid as follows: (1) The expenses of members who are legislators may be paid out of any funds appropriated to the Legislature or out of any funds appropriated for joint interim committees of the Legislature, but in the amounts as if they were performing legislative duties. Section 21-3A-4 Composition; appointment and duties of members. (a) For the purposes of implementing this chapter, the Governor shall appoint the Interagency Coordinating Council. There is hereby created an advisory council to the department to be composed of representatives of designated small business enterprises to be named as follows: Five by the Governor, two each by the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, and one by the secretary of the department to serve ex officio as chairman of the council.
