Section 11-54-125 Definitions. As used in this division, the following terms shall have
the following meanings: (1) AUTHORIZING RESOLUTION. A resolution adopted by the directors
and authorizing the execution and delivery of a trust agreement. (2) DIRECTORS. The board
of directors of an industrial development board. (3) ENDOWMENT TRUST FUND or FUND. A trust
fund created by an industrial development board pursuant to this division. (4) FUND MANAGER.
Any individual, partnership, corporation, or other person, including, without limitation,
a trustee bank, employed to manage and invest moneys held in and forming a part of an endowment
trust fund and other contributions to such fund. (5) INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT BOARD or BOARD.
A public corporation now in existence or hereafter organized pursuant to the provisions of

Section 34-21-25 Denial, suspension, or revocation of license; administrative fines;
voluntary disciplinary alternative program. (a) For disciplinary purposes, the board may adopt,
levy, and collect administrative fines not to exceed one thousand dollars ($1,000) per violation
and may institute any legal proceedings necessary to effect compliance with this chapter against
its licensees. (b)(1) The board may also deny, revoke, or suspend any license issued by it
or otherwise discipline a licensee, or holder of a multistate privilege to practice in Alabama,

Section 36-25-13 Actions of former public officials or public employees prohibited for
two years after departure. (a) No public official shall serve for a fee as a lobbyist or otherwise
represent clients, including his or her employer before the board, agency, commission, department,
or legislative body, of which he or she is a former member for a period of two years after
he or she leaves such membership. For the purposes of this subsection, such prohibition shall

The State Budget Officer shall allocate to the State Board of Education, the Board of Trustees
of the Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind, the Board of Youth Services School District,

Section 24-8-3 Definitions. The following words and phrases used in this chapter shall

Section 8-19A-3 Definitions. As used in this chapter and Chapter 19C, the following
terms shall have the following meanings unless the context clearly indicates otherwise: (1)
CALLER IDENTIFICATION SERVICE. A type of telephone service which permits telephone subscribers

of operating a school bus transporting students to or from school or school related events,

(a) Any person who manufactures, sells, transfers, receives, or possesses a listed precursor
chemical violates this article if the person: (1) Knowingly fails to comply with the reporting
requirements of this article; (2) Knowingly makes a false statement in a report or record

Interstate Compact. The Emergency Medical Services Personnel Licensure Interstate Compact
is hereby enacted into law and entered into with all other jurisdictions legally joining therein
in form substantially as follows: SECTION 1. PURPOSE In order to protect the public
through verification of competency and ensure accountability for patient care related activities
all states license emergency medical services (EMS) personnel, such as emergency medical technicians
(EMTs), advanced EMTs and paramedics. This Compact is intended to facilitate the day to day
movement of EMS personnel across state boundaries in the performance of their EMS duties as
