Section 41-28-1.1 Legislative findings. (a) The Legislature finds and declares: (1)
The streamlining and consolidation of governmental functions is a priority and is of great
importance to the economic well-being of the State of Alabama, to its citizens, and to ensuring
appropriate and responsible use of taxpayer funds. (2) The Office of Information Technology
was created in furtherance of the goal to streamline information technology in the state.
(3) Effective utilization of information technology is paramount to reducing the cost of governmental
operations and to serving the citizens of the state. (4) Excellence in support for all state
agency information technology needs is critical to serving the people of Alabama. (b) To implement

Finance the Division of Service. The functions and duties of the Division of Service shall

Section 41-4-66 Online database of requests for a proposal for a public contract. (a)
The Division of Control and Accounts with the State Department of Finance shall establish
and maintain and post on the state's website a statewide database of each request for a proposal
for a public contract by the State of Alabama, any agency, board, commission, or department
of the state which receives state or federally appropriated funds, the State Board of Education,

Section 32-8-6 Transaction fees; commissions; disposition of funds; disclosure of information.
(a) There shall be paid to the department for issuing and processing documents required by
this chapter a fee of fifteen dollars ($15) for each of the following transactions: (1) Each

The county commission shall furnish suitable quarters and provide the necessary forms, books,
