Section 45-21A-10.03 Notice of violation; civil penalty. (a) Prior to imposing a civil penalty
pursuant to this article, the City of Brantley shall first mail a notice of violation by certified
U.S. mail, return receipt requested, to the owner of the motor vehicle which is recorded by
the automated photographic speeding enforcement system that committed a speeding violation.
The notice shall be sent not later than the 30th day after the date the speeding violation
is recorded to the following: (1) The owner's address as shown on the registration records
of the Alabama Department of Revenue. (2) If the vehicle is registered in another state or
country, to the owner's address as shown on the motor vehicle registration records of the
department or agency of the other state or country analogous to the Alabama Department of

Section 8-34-1 Definitions. As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the following
meanings: (1) DEALER. Any person, corporation, or partnership that engages in the business
of purchasing precious items for the purpose of reselling such items in any form. A dealer

Section 23-1-431 (This section terminates April 26, 2018, if no revenue is created.) Alabama
Transportation Safety Fund. There is hereby created the Alabama Transportation Safety Fund
in the State Treasury. All proceeds from the revenues designated to the fund less the cost
of collection authorized by law shall be deposited into the fund to be expended only as provided
in this article. The provisions of this article shall not be superseded, amended, altered,
violated, or overridden by any provision of the state General Fund appropriation act or any

Section 36-27-1 Definitions. When used in this article, the following terms shall have the
following meanings, respectively, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise: (1) RETIREMENT
