Section 15-22-20 Board of Pardons and Paroles - Creation; composition; compensation. (a) There shall be a Board of Pardons and Paroles which shall consist of three members. The membership of the board shall be inclusive and reflect the racial, gender, geographic, urban/rural, or economic diversity of the state. At least one member shall be a current or former law enforcement officer with a minimum of 10 years' experience in or with a law enforcement agency which has among its primary duties and responsibilities the investigation of violent crimes or the apprehension, arrest, or supervision of the perpetrators thereof. Section 16-24C-3 Definitions. For purposes of this chapter, the following terms shall have the following meanings: (1) CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER. Section 27-44-10 Submission of plan of operation and amendments; promulgation of rules in absence of plan. (a)(1) The association shall submit to the commissioner a plan of operation and any amendments thereto necessary or suitable to assure the fair, reasonable, and equitable administration of the association. The plan of operation and any amendments thereto shall become effective upon approval in writing by the commissioner.
